Description

The origin of pasties are attributed to burlesque shows dating back to the 1920s.  They allowed dancers to perform completely topless for their audience without exposing their nipples and/or areolae.

Pasties have many uses such as:

1. worn as beachwear during sunbathing to maximize tanning by avoiding strap lines from bikinis while concealing the nipples;
